Light in the Darkness

Behold, darkness covers the earth, thick darkness the people, but the glory of the Lord is shining upon you” –Isaiah 60:2

Our world is experiencing a time of darkness. The powers at work are trying to take away freedoms by mandating vaccines or frequent tests. This or suffer consequences. Lose the right to work, or even care based on your status. We are being polarized, or divided against each other. It was termed many years ago “Divide and conquer.” It would seem this is what they are attempting to do everywhere there are still freedoms.

The church has always been persecuted places around the world. But this is the first time it has truly begun to be persecuted in the United States and Canada. People have been convinced to call good, “evil” and have touted evil things as good.

But how many of us see this darkness as thick as the media is projecting it to be? I live in a city that is relatively polarized, but it is rare that I have conversations with people that hate me because of my stance with God or politics. It’s just rare for me to see the affects actually affecting me or my family. We live protected by the hand of God.

We know others that are not so fortunate, that are having to choose whether to be a light in a dark place and have to do things that are against their beliefs and values, or be a snuffed out light (in regards to that place).

If we are to look at the agendas to remove freedoms, and the steps they are taking to get us there, how they are following, as it were, the same playbook as Hitler leading up to genocide and world domination, we should be concerned and sounding an alarm.

That alarm, I believe, is, and has been sounded for a while now, but the outlets that are best for getting those alarms heard, silence them. Many who are on the left, think it is just a conspiracy theory. But let me say, it is not a theory as to whether or not there is a conspiracy, for there certainly are many that are conspiring. The part that is theory, is what these conspiracies are actually conspiring to do.

Regardless, we are entering into darker times. Times in which religious freedom and freedom of speech are being encroached upon.

But there is good news in all of this! Though darkness may fall, the Lord has put His light in and upon His servants. And this light will become brighter the darker the world gets. My visions have become more based in night time lately. But anytime I see a child of God, I see brilliance of light!

And what does this light do? It destroys the works of darkness, for darkness can not prevail against light. For in the presence of light darkness can not remain. And when darkness comes in the presence of light it ceases to exist.

So this darkness may exist in the world, but God has set up a light system, He has set up His glory upon His saints to light up the world, to continue to stand against the darkness of the hour and forcefully advance the Kingdom of Light, the Kingdom of God.

We only need to be walking inline with the Spirit, obedient to the calling upon our lives, and not ashamed of Christ, but bold for Him! Speak the truth. Proclaim His Name, His glory, His splendor, and majesty. Boldly preach the Kingdom of God is at hand, and let His light shine through you so that the darkness trembles when you come around.

If all of us, who are called according to His purposes would walk this way, darkness would be on the retreat and not on the rise. But whether or not there are many or a few, we put 1,000’s to flight with just one light. Our impact is greater than we give ourselves credit for.

Only pray in faith, not in fear. Beholding the image of our God and His Kingdom so that we may see it come into the earth. It is time for the Church to become the actual body of Christ and bear the light of the world into the earth.
