September 28th, I did my fourth outreach to Pakistan. It seemed as though everything was under attack. Even the cell phone towers were shut off for the day I was to preach (via internet over cell connection).
There were security issues that required us to move the date, very close to the date that we had already been making plans for. Nevertheless, God made a way, and showed Himself mighty to save
Nearly 1,000 people converted (that we know of), and got baptized this week. Around two thirds of the near 3,000 people there had healing or deliverance from me praying for them as a group. And many more received healing or miracles from the bible school students laying hands on them.
One man, with hands that were stuck shut from third degree burns was healed to be able to open and use his hands.
Two of the business owners we had hired were trembling from the presence of God while I was preaching. They thought maybe it was black magic until they heard Jesus being preached. They then began to pray to Jesus, saying, "Jesus, we don't know who you are, but we know now that you are God."
The man who set up the screen was healed from pain in his arm that had made setting up very difficult for him. We gave the workers extra money at the end of the night, and when he was handed the money he said while crying, "I don't deserve this, I should be giving to you, for you preach truth."
People that came in with wheel chairs, left walking. A lady, addicted to drugs, was doing them at the meeting. During the preaching, the taste for them kept getting less and less. By the time I prayed at the end, to break addictions, she took what she had left, threw it on the ground and jumped on them to destroy them.
God is doing amazing things, and has opened even more doors for me to preach in Pakistan. I never considered myself an evangelist, but God is certainly bringing in a harvest. I am excited to share this with you, and look forward to sharing more as we do more of these events.
